My body frame is small, so lugging around any vacuum is hard for me. I strap this on my back and can move freely through areas without straining to take the vac. And the power is much higher than other back-packs. As with any big tool, remembering to allow clearance as you move around objects is important. It comes with one floor attachment, but a set of attachments is available for crevice, brush work, and furniture. Great Vac!

I love this shop Vac. The only thing that I didn't like was when it gets full it will start sending your dust everywhere and your back starts to get warm. It is fairly light on the back, sucks great, and does well with a palm sander hooked to the end. Just be careful because the bags are hard to find and you cannot use it for water clean up. This is a dust only model. Great for around the house cleaning hard to reach areas and hard wood flooring. The brush head attachment allows you to pick up numerous items on hard wood and tile.

I recently purchased this vacuum for my hardwood floor filled house for two reasons. First, for years I have asked traditional vacuum sales people why they do not post horse power on household vacuums. I never did receive an answer that made any sense. I have subsequently stuck with Shop-Vac in my home because they have POWER. Standard household vacs do not work on hardwood floors no matter what sales people will tell you. Second, the backpack style is nice because I do not have to lug it around nor do I have to push it around like an upright. I have found both cannister vacs and uprights can and will scratch floors. With the backpack style there is no weight on the floor risking damage.
With 6.5 HP this vacuum picks up everything. It is easy to strap on, does not weigh very much so I can easily bend down and pick something up if I need to, and the bottom sits low enough on my back so there is no strain. Also, unlike household vacuums with ridiculously short cords, Shop-Vac cords are long enough to get across a room, up stairs, anywhere just great. Love it. The best buy for the money.
