I bought this vacuum for a DIY kitchen demo/remodel. Best price for a HEPA vac I could find. It was missing the extension wands when it arrived unopened; I called the manufacturer (Cleva North America) and they were very helpful in sending out the missing pieces. Extremely happy with this product; good suction, accessories are useful, long cord, not cumbersome. The only drawback is the plastic clasps for the top motor assembly; be careful with these. Great for a homeowner. My friend who does asbestos abatement for a living even said this is a very nice vacuum after helping me remove an old floor. Bags are a little pricey, but the inside of this vac is still very clean after gutting a 180 sqft. lath & plaster kitchen. So I'll keep buying them.

arrived on time from amazon. bags fit vacmaster VK811PH 8-Gallon sealed hepa vac. they are made of fiber material, not paper. can not attest to their filtration efficiency, but when original bag was replaced, there was no visible dust on the hepa pre-filter. bag fits easily and snugly to vac orifice. just check the alignment and placement to be sure the bag is completely forced into place with the orifice. otherwise, bag could become loose, allowing leakage. be aware that any 8 gal vac/bag will not hold a complete 8 gals. of waste. best to error on the side of caution and change out the bags early rather than too later. after all, the VK811PH vac is meant for use with fine dust and lead abatement collection. it is not a general shop vac. the bags are expensive to buy, but fairly priced if they contribute to your health and safety.

I don't understand why dust from sanding wood passes through this filter into the chamber and sticks to the Hepa pre Filter. I also find the same wood dust accumulating on the outside of the Vacmaster.
