If you've tried to vacuum up sheetrock dust with a shop-vac, you are familiar with the white cloud that exits the back of the shop-vac. This bag neatly contains all the dust in an easy-to-toss container. It did take a moment to figure out how to install the bag, but after that it was smooth sailing.

I ordered this replacement bag to use in a project involving grinding a concrete floor (to get it flat). Concrete dust is on par with drywall dust as being very fine and hard to control. Shop-Vac has a bag they recommend for fine dust (#906-71-00) which works great, but is significantly more expensive. I think if in your use it is critical to not allow dust to stray, the more expensive bag is recommended. But in my case, it's not as important as I have the room screened off. I'm on the 6th bag already and I have a ways to go and the bag is doing about a 95+ percent effective job. I've even emptied each bag several times before it's end of life. So far the end of life comes when enough of the abrasive dust hits the bag that it chews through the paper and blows a hole in it. Then the cartridge filter has to hold the dust until I see the bag needs to be emptied/replaced. All-in-all the bag hs been useful for my project and of reasonable cost.

These are disposable vacuum bags sold at a very good price. They fit well in my 6 gal ShopVac and perform as expected. No complaints.
