At first I was going to get one of the "adjustable" blower fans that has a slide mechanism to angle the blower assembly. After reading a few reviews about that style and hearing some negative comments about the construction of those from workers using them, I decided to buy this one-piece model. For 3 different angles, you simply lean the hole fan back and it sets on a different set of rests. The strong point here is that there are no other moving parts besides the fan squirrel cage/motor shaft itself - so there are less pieces to break and wear out in the long run. The housing is a durable construction, and surprising quiet for the amount of air it puts out. The three speed fan switch feels a little cheap, so I would not crank down on it hard to turn it off/on. (I'm used to working with industrial equipment, so I may be a little hard to please when it comes to switch strength!) Over all, I'm very satisfied and would buy another if I needed a second one.

This little baby puts out more air than all the mini squirrel cage type fans we have ever tried. Super light, small, fits anywhere and does a great job. Cheapest out there too as far as cost goes, but the most well put together air mover for the mini type. Great job Shop Vac!

I work in a shop in Houston and it gets extremely hot and this fan does a great job of moving air.
